How long does an MOT take?

A standard MOT takes 45 minutes, however please allow for up to an hour in case of any minor repairs. We offer a while you wait service or alternatively we have a fleet of courtesy cars available to keep you on the move (If you require a courtesy car please make this known when booking).

What happens if my car fails?

If your vehicle fails, it must be repaired and retested within 10 days. You cannot drive your car on the road until the repairs have been completed and a certificate issued. Re-tests are free within the 10 day period. When repairs are necessary, we’ll always request your permission before starting and attempt to re-test before the end of the day. When this is not possible, we will try and offer you a courtesy car until the repairs are complete.
